Windows 10 64 bit, office 365/2016 64 bit.ДЄfter several weeks without contacts or calendar on my iphone after upgrading to office 2016, I found a solution. This doesn't work because although the contacts now appear in outlook on the iPhone, they don't appear in the iPhone contacts list, so you cant call them!

I have spent a fortune on 3rd party products, and dont want to go down this route just to get my contacts on my phone (I gave up years ago trying to sync calendars or notes with any device, including android).ДЄnother thing I tried was to setup a Hotmail account in outlook, copy (duplicate) some contacts to this, install outlook on the iPhone. The other option is 'Sync contacts with windows contacts', but I dont have any (and they are not syncable with hotmail or outlook).ДЄny ideas of what we can try? icloud is not an option, as it only syncs existing iphone phone contacts with an icould folder in outlook, not my outlook contacts or hotmail contacts. In iTunes, when you select 'Sync contacts with outlook' the 'selected groups' options is now gone, and it doesn't sync. The first sync after updating outlook to 2016 wiped all my contacts from the phone, including ones I had updated and not synced back to outlook yet. Itunes allowed you to chose the outlook contacts folder to sync. I'm making sure that the appointments are input into the Exchange calendar on the mobile devices, which I know is a common user error, so that's not the problem.With outlook 2010, I had no problem syncing contacts in a data file to my iPhone using USB cable and iTunes.

So I'm tempted to suggest that the issue may be that the appointments are getting to Exchange 2003 but aren't displaying in Outlook 2010. But I'm guessing theВ appointments must be getting to Exchange how else could they be passed on to the other mobiles? One user that has an iPhone, Android phone and Galaxy Note tablet showed me that appointments input on the mobile devices sync to each other, but not to Outlook. In our case, we have both iPhones and Androids which will quiteВ happilyВ sync calendarВ appointmentsВ input in Outlook 2010 with Exchange 2003. If I may revive this thread, I've tried running Calcheck and this has not resolved our (similar) problem. That's about it from the stuff I have seen.

I have seen some weird issues with calendars on older Exchange 2003 servers due to issues with ActiveSync that were eventually fixed, but only in later editions (most often I'd see appointments you couldn't actually accept on the phone).

But you can still narrow things down with this - you know it's not the 'hardware', but I'd imagine the upgrade from 4>5 took all theВ settingsВ with it. This is probably just a troubleshooting step, as there are probably other settings in the phone that the user would like to keep. Set up the account on a different phone and see if it does the same thing. Remove the Exchange account wait a bit and then add it back. This will totally reload the calendar from the iPhone's perspective. Turn the calendar off (in mail settings) wait a bit and then turn it back on.
